Determining Eligibility

Mi Jung Lee and Tin Zhad are candidates for naturalization. Click on the text in bold in each of their stories for explanations of the terms or phrases and see how they might affect Mi Jung's and Tin's eligibility, then answer the questions.

    Candidate A Photo of Mi Jung Lee Mi Jung Lee is 29 years old and moved to New York seven years ago with her parents. She has a permanent resident card and working papers. She has been working in a law firm as a paralegal for the last five years. She has not left the U.S. since her arrival seven years ago.
